Byousoku 5 Centimeter (5 Centimeters Per Second) is a 2007 Japanese animated feature film by Makoto Shinkai. Makoto Shinkai had expressed that, unlike his past works, there would be no fantasy or science fiction elements in this film. Instead, the feature film would attempt to present the real world from a different perspective. Makoto's film gives a realistic view of the struggles many face against, time, space, people, and love. The movie is named 5 Centimeters Per Second for the speed at which cherry blossom petals fall, petals being a metaphorical representation of humans, reminiscent of the slowness of life and how people often start together but slowly drift into their separate ways.

Episode 1: Ōkashō
Ōkashō (Cherry Blossom Extract): Upon graduating from elementary school, Takaki Tōno and his close friend Akari Shinohara drifted apart. Akari moved to Tochigi Prefecture due to her parents' jobs, while Takaki attended a junior high in Tokyo. The two kept in contact by writing letters, but despite the special feelings that existed between them, the only thing that persisted was time. When Takaki became aware that his family would move to Kagoshima, he decided to go see Akari since they would be too far apart to visit each other after he moved. However, when the day came, a severe snowstorm delayed Takaki's trip, and it would be hours before he reached Iwafune, where they promised to meet.

Episode 2: Cosmonaut
Takaki is now in the third year of senior high in Tanegashima, where the Tanegashima Space Center is located. Kanae Sumita, a classmate of Takaki, has special feelings for Takaki, but she does not have the courage to express her love to him. She later observes that Takaki is always staring off into the distance, as if searching for something far far away.

Episode 3: Byōsoku 5 Centimeter
It is now 2008, and all three characters have gone their separate ways. Takaki is now a computer programmer in Tokyo, and Akari is preparing to get married. One day, Takaki goes out and sees the face of a familiar-looking woman at a railroad-crossing. Puzzled by the encounter, he tries to look back, but a train comes and cuts off his view.

But unfortunately, since Rina got killed, police is looking at Houjou Teppei as main culprit, therefore Takano is unable to use Yamainu to kill him. Rika nearly snaps and violently abandon whole world. Situation repeated itself as in Tatarigoshi-hen again. Chie-sensei is unable to help Satoko. But in this world, instead of Maebara Keichii, the one who will try to kill Teppei is Sonozaki Shion. But thanks to Keichii's help, they manage to calm her down. Later, whole group is trying to ask for help at Child Counseling Center. But even there, they cannot do anything. After that, even Keichii agrees that this situation is hopeless, but Rika, who starts crying and begging for help, returns him back from misfortune.

Jean is pierced through, but her fate is yet to be determined.

Welcome to the NHK first began as a single novel, published by Kadokawa Shoten which was released in Japan on January 28, 2002. Later, the story was adapted into a manga series written by the same person, though the art this time was done by Kendi Oiwa. An anime was also created which aired in Japan between July 9, 2006 and December 17, 2006, containing 24 episodes.

In real-world Japan, NHK refers to the TV channel and broadcasting corporation Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai, but within the series, NHK also stands for Nippon Hikikomori Kyokai which means "The Japanese Hikikomori Association", a reference to the protagonist's claim of a subversive conspiracy led by NHK (the broadcasting corporation) to create NHK (the hikikomori group). While it mainly deals with the reclusive phenomenon of hikikomori, the plot also explores many other Japanese subcultures — for example: otaku, lolicon, and internet suicide.

Welcome to the NHK revolves around the lives of several young-adults all living in or around the city of Tokyo. Many different lifestyles are shown though most of the time the story focuses on the concepts of being a hikikomori, anime otaku, and having most of the characters experience intense feelings of depression and loneliness.

The main protagonist is Tatsuhiro Satō, a university dropout entering his fourth year of unemployment. He leads a reclusive life as a hikikomori, ultimately coming to the bizarre conclusion that this happened due to some sort of conspiracy. One day just when his life seems entirely unchanging, he meets Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who claims to be able to cure Tatsuhiro of his hikikomori ways. She presents him with a contract basically outlining that once a day they would meet in the evening in a local park where Misaki would lecture to Tatsuhiro in an effort to rid him of his lifestyle. During these outings, many subjects are discussed, though they almost always pertain in some way to psychology or psychoanalysis. One of their first meetings in fact deals with interpreting Tatsuhiro's recent dreams.

Both Tatsuhiro and Misaki, however, have a tendency of over-doing things, such as hiding the truth, especially from each other and themselves. Despite Misaki's offer and pressing attempts at salvation, it is Tatsuhiro's neighbor and high school friend, Kaoru Yamazaki, whom Tatsuhiro often turns to in moments of need and support. Also, despite his own idiosyncrasies, Yamazaki is one of the more stable characters in the story.

Sasori then uses an new technique to attack with randomly-growing iron spikes, landing a hit imbued with a poison that quickly paralyzes its victims. With a final attack of the Third Kazekage's puppet, Sasori attempts to kill the seemingly helpless Sakura, only to discover at the last second that it was a ruse. Somehow immune to the effects of the poison, Sakura destroys his puppet with a single punch at the last second.

I am saying this over and over. It's unbelievable how ignorant ppl can be. If you can't watch any videos on the new player, use browsers other than IE. I put this on the top of every pages in big orange box and I also write it on posts and comments. For the last time, I am not switching back to veoh player. Just like Y**Tube, veoh also deletes videos. Re-uploading videos is just a big waste of time.

Sakura manages to escape the poison gas cloud by using an explosive scroll on herself. Chiyo calls forth the "Mother" and "Father" puppets that Sasori created to fight him and the Third. They manage to hold down the Third for awhile until Sasori releases the Third's secret technique: Iron Sand. Meanwhile, Team Guy are having trouble fighting the clones and showing exhaustion from the battle. Naruto and Kakashi manage to avoid Deidara's clay bombs and keep up with him.

The Iron Sand stops both puppets from moving. Chiyo's right arm (which she had turned into a puppet) gets clogged and broken as well. Chiyo thinks back to the past and remembers how Sasori created and controled his first puppets, Father and Mother. Sakura urges Chiyo to use her again as her puppet. With Chiyo's help, Sakura avoids the columns formed by the Iron Sand to attack her.

Instead of doing so, Rubel gives Clare a mission to go to the Northern lands along with 23 other Claymores to confront a horde of Awakened and the "Dweller of the Deep" Easley. He also mentions that Raki has gone there, giving Clare even more incentive to go. Once there, all four of the Slashers (Clare, Helen, Miria & Deneve) are reunited again and make Jean their fifth member since she too is a Half-Awakened. The 24 gathered Claymores divide into teams of five and are soon confronted by three Awakened.
