Zero establishes the hierarchy of the Order of the Black Knights. Diethard suggests assassinating Suzaku Kururugi, but the plan is turned down. Princess Euphemia officially knights Suzaku. The Student Council celebrates the occasion, and Karen attempts to assassinate Suzaku but is stopped by Lelouch. Zero launches a plan to disable and capture Suzaku and the Lancelot at a Britannia military base on Shikinejima island. His plan almost succeeds until Prince Schneizel makes his appearance and orders his battleship "Avalon" to mass-fire at the Order of the Black Knights on the island. Prince Schneizel also reveals his "Gawain" knightmare frame with a devastating power.
