As the doctor prodigy, Dr. Tenma, finishes one successful operation he observes the family of a failed operation. He later finds out he was removed from this operation to do the successful operation. Dr. Tenma is affected by this selfish decision mentally as a boy is brought in with a bullet in his brain. Before the operation begins the mayor is brought in and Dr. Tenma is removed from the boy's operation, at this point he knows the boy will die. Before entering the mayor's operation room he changes his mind and goes to save the boy who came in before the mayor and directly disobeying to directors orders. -by Killsquad
